Je Naé Taylor // B&R Advisor

Je Naé Taylor, a native of Washington, D.C., is a daughter of medicine folx and firefighters. She is a storyteller, shapeshifter, and visionary. Je Naé is most curious about the practice of joy and sustenance needed to live extraordinarily. She has been co-creating and indulging in spectacle across continents since 2003 with art institutions such as The South Side Community Art Center, London International School of Performing Arts, and The Kennedy Center. Her love for Black people can be found in chants she's written for The Black Joy Experience album and articles published in various popular and scholarly journals. She is the youngest granddaughter of Gilda Mae and holds hands with her girlfriend in public as often as she can.
